Beer Review: Two Hearted Ale

Beer Name: Two Hearted Ale

Price: Got this in a Build-a-Six at ABC Fine Wine & Spirits.

ABV: 7.00 %

Style: American IPA

Brewery: Bell’s Brewery

Color: This brew poured a clear, golden-orange color right into my 16oz. pint glass. I got about a one finger head, slowly dissipated leaving no lacing.

Aroma: The smell is very hoppy. Citrus and flowery notes are also in the smell.

Flavor: At first sip, you get a hoppy blast. Then its followed by a malty taste. This made for a nice well-balanced taste in my opinion.

Finish: The hops come back into play in the aftertaste. Medium-bodied and low carbonated. This brew was quite enjoyable.

Comments: Ring them Bell’s. This brew was a very crisp, well balanced beer. The hops and malts really mix together well to bring out the true heroes: the hints of citrus and floral tones. Like the smell, the taste is very inviting. The medium body and low carbonation helped make the 7.00% ABV beer very easy to drink. Because of the drinkability, this has become one of my Go-To brews. I honestly could have a six pack of this in my fridge at all times.
